The proposed school will serve grades preK-5 and will be modeled after 2012 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Bronx Charter School for Excellence. It is planned to serve the Stamford community.

The mission of Stamford Charter School for Excellence (SCSE) will be to prepare young people in Stamford, Connecticut to compete for admission to and succeed in top public, private, and parochial high schools by cultivating their intellectual, artistic, social, emotional, and ethical development. The Stamford Charter School for Excellence will accomplish this by offering a challenging and rigorous academic curriculum – which at the earliest grades will have an eye toward college preparation. The Stamford Charter School for Excellence will accomplish this in a supportive and caring environment that has high expectations for all students.

We, the undersigned, have either have an interest in sending our school-aged children to Stamford Charter School for Excellence and/or we support another public school option for the Stamford community.
