EA finally folded and gave us those spiral staircases and customizable layouts we demanded. It is about time they stopped ignoring the people who actually play their game. I will be watching closely to make sure these tools work perfectly before I stop holding their feet to the fire.

Final supporters
A large mass of the Simblr (Simmers on Tumblr) community is struggling with the lack of stairs we have at our disposal. Giant stairs ruining floor plans, disabling us from making small quaint 2 story homes, stifling our creativity.
We would LOVE ladders, spiral staircases, L shaped stairs and the ability to place stairs diagonally. Please EA gods, here our cries... and read our petition.

EA is ignoring our basic design needs while we settle for their clunky, space-hogging stairs. We are nearly at one hundred signatures so blow up the SimGurus on Twitter right now and force them to look at our demands.

Probably the main reason I don't do much building - I mean those things need an entire room of their own and I like SMALL builds.
Please add diagonal stairs and spiral staircases! We have octagonal rooms, but no way to streamline the stairs on something that would use them, like a gazebo or turret room. Please please please!
I want Spiral Stairs back. And when you move stairs on an window I want that the stairs don't delete the window.
Plllleeeeeeaaaasssee, we need these for building. And if EA do decide to take on what we have to say, please make them part of a free update. You can always add fancier/different versions of them in future packs!!! Please take this on board, sincerely, an eager simmer
Yes, please! My buildings get so ruined from the lack of stairs, or the huge footprint the TS4 provided stairs take up :/ LADDERS! FOR EVERYONE!

i would really like to see in the sims 4 different styles of stairs like the ones that were available in previous sims games. i really like the idea of spiral stairs, ladders, and the fancy stairs that were in sims 2 garden stuff.
