It's a race for a space. Now to raise the price of the passes and decrease the number of spaces, is this a 'Go Fund Me' for Administrations bonuses? Could someone explain this to me. If UCSD is receiving the millions in Grants and Donations I'm reading about, why are we having to pay more for less?

As a mid shift worker, I have great difficulty finding parking anywhere, and then have a long walk to my car in the middle of the night. Not such a safe situation, especially considering the cost of parking.

Walking to Lot 702 during the middle of the day is not safe. "UTC jogger assaulted with a taser and attempted kidnapping" occurred a few months ago at 12:30pm. I have two words for you, risk management! Be safe and stay alert.

Not fair. Nurses are the most abundant staff in the hospital and it seems that we have the least amount of spots closest to the hospital entrance.

Working at the front desk in radiology we have patient's complaining about the parking issue,, there is not enough parking they want to interrupt registration because they have to go back to their car to add more money to parking meter. Please correct this issue as it affects patient care.

I have to park far and walk long distance to and from my car everyday. I leave my house hrs before my shift starts to give me ample time to find parking. Causing me to pay more for daycare having to bring them extra early. This is insane and ridiculous. Employees are important too... what happened to everything you talk about at "LEADING THE WAY"?????

I currently leave at 7pm and walking to Althea and beyond is frightening in the middle of the night. Parking is too expensive for the service we are received.

Please provide more B spots or allow UCSD providers (not faculty) access to A spots.

A huge problem I see in the parking structures is that there are a lot of the A spaces unoccupied and not enough B spots. We are essentially paying really high prices to come to work after fighting traffic and fighting each other to find a spot and still walk a long distance to be able to clock in on time. The best use for the lots would be to do away with "A" parking and "B" parking, making it available for all staff.

The parking situation for employees needs to be improved! I am completely stressed in the morning trying to find parking when there is non available even at 6:30am! More B parking close to the hospital is much needed. Employees are important too!!!

Yes I agree! I also want to say that I do not agree on the fee's imposed for La Jolla verses Hillcrest. At Hillcrest you can pay to park all day for just $4.00 a day and here you have to pay $20.00 to pay all day. I do not think that is fare at all.

Do away with the A and B parking. General parking for all.

I have to walk a long distance to my car often in the dark and I am worried for my safety. UCSD continues to make it easier for the physicians to park (most of them empty spaces) while they take away parking for the hundreds of other employees. We pay $1200 a year and for what?
