Too much of an expansion for such a small bay.

As the descendants of those who left become tourists, we talk of the beauty of the land and the freedom to roam that we had as children during our holidays. If you take away the beauty of the land, what do you have left to attract the tourists and their children? Please, consider the benefits of tourism to the people of Donegal and make the lives and views of the locals a priority.

The visual and emotional impact this has on our small community is devastating. Coupled with this is the ecological impact this has for our area. To impose such a scaled transformation of our strand without the proper review and analysis and without full consultation, begs the question as to how this programme was passed by the key government bodies responsible.

Disgraceful idea that will cost jobs not create jobs. Look at the jobs created by current oyster farms, part time low paid lads, what's lost is b&bs guest houses and many more

The natural, unspoilt beauty of my beautiful homeland is at risk from this oyster farm proposal. It's important to stand up against this to preserve this important recreational area and the significant tourism reputation for Donegal airport and broader community. The wild Atlantic way is beautiful and does not need this eyesore on our shores!!!!

The word "Bráid" means a throat or gullet - here, referring to the inlet of the sea. This desecrating proposal will certainly choke it!

Recently winning awards for beauty, wild and wonderful beaches, scenery etc and dump a massive eyesore right on a key entry point to the best County in Ireland...how thoughtful, NOT!

No way,and no way a fish farm for Galway Bay. We gave away our fish to the EU and now we are giving away the rest.
