Stable staff deserve better

Stable staff are the most important people in racing,with out them racing can't work. They deserve to be looked after properly at every race course not just the small tracks.

Stable staff should be paid proper wages and good conditions

If it wasn't 4 the lads & lassie. There would be no racesing. Look after them.

Fair play for getting this going..... where would the industry be without the stable staff who put their all into getting horses to the track. Hopefully the stud staff will (at some stage) get better conditions too both at yards and away at sales, without us there are no horses to train.

Im not stable staff, but everyone can see the situation, its not good enough in this day and age.

I'm a regular racegoer.

Over 40 years working at horses 30 years in racing have to pay into races its a disgrace same old stable staff left behind.

Stable staff need much better facilities.

This is ridiculous in this day and age. These people work long hours in often difficult weather conditions. Surely they can be offered decent food at a fair price.

Without the staff you don't have a horse or a team. Pay them what is overdue & treat them right, don't break their spirit & love by not looking after them. Show the rest of the world that we really are the best in the thoroughbred industry.

Fair pay for excessive hours worked during the week, expenses for attending race meetings to be paid tax free! Shower/wash rooms need to be addressed and upgraded at multiple tracks and the standard of food available at some racecourses is far below par. Thank you.

Stable staff are the most important people in racing. I have seen 1st hand the way they are treated, not all trainers but there are some bad eggs
