Its a must to treat and pay all stable staff in a fair and just way, without these unsung heroes there would be no racing at all, which is a proven fact.

Absolutely agree. Stable staff are the backbone of the industry. This includes stud farm workers. The canteen food at the sales complexes & racecourses is often appalling and unhealthy. Bank holiday pay is non existent, overtime....what's that?! Understandably the small outfits struggle to stay afloat & keep bills at bay but without the staff they wouldn't exist at all.

This is long over due having worked in the industry I fully support the efforts being made here stable staff need the support of the industry they can't be taken for granted anymore

Ave all ways said wee need more time off especially if you Ave family. Or not day & half fornite if lucky if your horse his running weekend some yards sometimes they say you Ave to go . And you should get more pay than you get now

The whole ISSA needs a revamp it needs professional representation not what we have now conditions of canteens and what is on offer is just the tip of the iceberg there is far more deep rooted problems that need to be seriously addressed unfortunately at the moment there is no representitive for stable lads able [or willing] to do this

Racing staff need to be treated with respect both at the yards and racing. Have better conditions and not be out of pocket for basics such as food and drink. Is there a phone number to inform on bad practice? ie if whistleblowing xx
