A crossing would be welcome, but the real question is, considering this road has been bypassed by the M60, why are Audenshaw Road and Guide Lane still so large?
In this area, shouldn't traffic be forced to use the M60? Shouldn't that main road be significantly narrowed, and made much more frustrating to drive along, so the M60 becomes the natural route of choice?
It's the same with Stockport Road - people should be driving along the A635 instead.
And by reducing the amount of traffic using these roads, you immediately make it much more attractive to walk or cycle - which children and parents love to do.

My grandson got run over further down this road , it is dangerous and a crossing is needed as soon as possible

If you can put a crossing in past the Oxford pub at Hugh Mason then you can put one in across from the school

I know from picking my grandchildren up from here just how busy the road is - especially with the junction so close.
Will it take an accident before action is taken by the council
