Not from St. Marys but the conditions need to be improved from what I've seen. and charging people is unforgivable.

It was advertised on the website that townhouses would have a cleaner to clean communal areas. However in the first week of moving in this was taken down from the website and replaced saying that we should clean our own kitchens, This was false advertisement and therefore we entered our contracts under false pretences. There should be the reduction of rent due to the lack of a cleaner.

i think it is disgusting that we are expected to pay for this when the property is still a building site- the workmen are wearing hard hats, where is mine?

- Our on-site Laundrette only has one fully functioning washing machine; supposed to be shared between 80-odd people.
- The toaster in our kitchen sparks whenever you press the eject button.
- Water from the sink in my room was dripping from the pipes.
- Our large kitchen table was replaced with a table half its size (??)

I lived in normal site during my first year, and you think the university would have learnt from its mistakes by now. A similar situation happened at Aberystwyth university, where students had to be housed temporarily in hotels due to unfinished halls. And we supposedly pride ourselves on being better than them! Another shambles to rival pontio.

This place is an utter mess. The first week of living here my house had maintenance in pretty much every day because one thing or another wasn't working. I was told the place would be finished when I emailed weeks before and it still isn't, absolutely disgusting that they're still making us pay the full amount of rent!!
