Having a playground is such a simple and basic part of school, I cannot even imagine a school without one......I really feel for the children on this one!!!

My daughter attends St. Mary's and though she will be leaving by the end of next year, she too enjoys the equipment. She also raised concerns that they were removing the sand area and replacing it with cement. I believe that children need to play. If our school stands behind its habitat, they should not be removing the sand area and replacing it with more concrete.

My grandson goes to this school and him like other children need the exercise, they have high energy levels.

Playgrounds are essential at a school, not only do they help with creative play, but also gross motor skills. Play is a key element in early education. Do not let these kids down!

This is ridiculous to take our children's playground away from them . Are they not to have fun anymore ? we all had a playground as a child now outs are to go to school all day and have nothing , the after school children who have to stay all day and have nothing .. I can't believe our school would allow this to happen .
