This is unacceptable. The school needs to provide safe space for students. They should address the issues immediately before additional health issues arise.

Not only should this be obviously fixed, but the residents should be compensated for the medical bills this accrued. This is horrifying and unacceptable.

I hope that these concerns are addressed immediately. You are robbing people and making them ill that is not acceptable plus some of these people could bring a lawsuit against the school. People are getting sick and it is affecting their education and lives.

Unacceptable. Loyola needs to step up and live up to the values and principles that it preaches. When students enroll the minimum expectation is basic clean and inhabitable living surroundings.

After learning of my daughters experience and hearing that many other students are suffering with similar symptoms, the unacceptable conditions my daughter and other students are being subjected to need to be addressed and remedy immediately by Loyola officials- shame on those who have knowingly compromised our children health-this is unacceptable!!

It has been nightmarish trying to find a way to sleep in my room where it is already sweltering hot or freezing cold. Centipedes are constantly running across the carpet, which is riddled with mold. This is already a massive on top of chronic insomnia that I have suffered from for years. Even if my medication works, which it barely does now due to stress, I don’t stay asleep for more than 2-3 hours to a hostile shift in comfort that has bordered on near heatstroke as recent as last night. This is a problem that I had hoped would be fixed within days, and yet it has been weeks in a frankly inhospitable environment for continued human safety. This has not been worth $9,000

Loyola, you need to address this situation immediately! My daughter is a resident at St. Louis. When I moved her into the dorm room I was immediately disgusted by the conditions of her room and the dorm in general. I made my concerns known to the resident hall director. As a result, a maintenance crew spent a week performing cosmetic fixes to what I am now learning is a much larger problem.
For the past 3 weeks my daughter has been dealing with serious health issues (crippling migraines and nausea). She did not suffer from these health issues until she moved into that dorm. She has missed classes, spent money on visit to doctors, and medications as a result of these migraines that can attributed to the conditions in her dorm. Hearing that other students in St. Louis are struggling with health problems only confirms my initial concerns about the safety of this dorm. If Loyola really cares about the health, safety and success of the students in St. Louis Hall, these students need to be relocated to another dorm or a hotel.

The mold in my shower and near my air conditioning has caused me to experience severe allergies and has worsened my asthma. I am so tired of not getting any sleep and constantly trying to catch my breath. The radiators are ridiculous no one seems to know how they work, not even the RAs. This needs to be fixed immediately.

I agree with the room condition is never worth that money we paid. And it is completely different from the 3D photo I saw before I moved in.

This is ridiculous, I have been sick for weeks and I should not be paying the amount of money I am for poor conditions. Loyola can and should do better.
