Every family deserves to have a voice and a choice. We are all individuals with families and households that we have each built ourselves and know better than anyone else. Especially when it comes to a government who is trying to apply a one size fits all solution to our family safety and children's education. You don't know my family better than me. You should open school doors and allow the families to CHOOSE what is right for each individual family. Those who feel they are high risk and do not wish to send their kids to school should be afforded the opportunity to do virtual learning. The family who considers themselves low risk and needs their dual income to support their household should be afforded the opportunity to send their kids to school. Your one size fits all mandatory virtual learning is actually benefiting very few right now. You have set a dangerous precedent of allowing politics guide the running of your schools instead of common sense and facts. You are single handedly ruining these childrens' education and damaging the psychological well being of parents and children across your school district. Allowing children to be together as part of a daycare service instead of an educational service is absurd and makes absolutely no sense. Let us choose what is right for our own families and unique situations. I do NOT need YOU making decisions for my children that will affect their well being and my family's livelihood. The local numbers for deaths and mortality rate do not support any decisions coming out of the Rockwood school district.

You are hurting our kids!!! Stop it! If you can protest /riot with no mention of Covid-19, then the kids can go to school. Thank you

The CDC, American Academy of Pediatrics and my child's own pediatrician has indicated school is safe as long as measures are put in place for social distancing and cleaning. Please focus your efforts on getting them back into the classroom with their peers. The online classroom is depressing to them, overwhelming and robbing them of their childhood experience of making friends, learning the social mores and collaborative learning. Please rethink this!

I have quit my job over all this and now will be homeschooling. Im not hapoy about having to leave my means of income! I will be homeschooling( unenrolled) at home fir the next full year. Im so disappointed in this district for the massive let down! My nieces and nephews are going to school 5 days a week 6 miles down the road!

Five kids at home. I work full time. Online school with no available supervision is not the answer.
I’m a single mom with. I extra money to provide tutors or help for my kids.
