It’s time for kids to be in school. Those teachers and educators who are at risk need to take additional precautions for themselves.

Please get these children back in school ASAP.! We have 4 children, high school, middle school and elementary, ages, 15, (10th grade), 13 (8th grade), 11 (6th grade) & 8 (3rd grade). They are all 4 miserable at home learning virtually. This is a sin. They need social interaction and teacher interaction.

Please go to hybrid model. This will allow for smaller classes, social distancing safety, and socialization for the younger kids.

I’m extremely disappointed in St. Louis County. Our students need school. We can’t hide from sicknesses. The whole point in the spring was to flatten the curve. The curve has been flattened. Get our kids back in school please. It is really sad that there’s no joy in school right now and such a high level of frustration.

Open the schools. In my opinion, no thought put into the opening. Kids have to be in school. If not, refund taxes and let us choose our school.

Makes me sad that we have compromised our children and their education., all to appease the unions! Teachers have no clue if the kids in their “class” are learning or not, because most classes are prerecorded with no child interaction. My grand kids only see their actual teachers for 1.15 hours out of the day. That is ridiculous! Why, at this time, are teachers not considered essential? You all had no problem with other workers being considered as essential? Why not you? Is it not essential for our children to learn???No learning happened this week.. systems were overloaded and half the time you could not even watch the class scheduled! FIGURE IT OUT!

The lack of a formal dashboard with meaningful metrics and goals to base decisions on (whether they be decisions to go virtual, do a hybrid, do in person, or return to school) is a major miss. How are decisions being made? That should be transparent. My child's enthusiasm is gone after the first week, he's bored, and sitting in front of a screen with no face to face interaction, or hands on activities for 7 hours is unhealthy, emotionally and developmentally.
