Way more harm is being done to these children by keeping them out of school. I’m not sure whether you’re afraid of the teachers union or the media or both. But, you were totally shirking your responsibilities. Many people feel there’s a political element into this and that is if children are at home parents can’t go to work in a lot of cases and so the economy suffers and this will affect the election. I think it would be interesting to know everyone’s political affiliation that is involved in this decision.

There is no reason we can’t do hybrid now. It is the best solution and gives the kids a mix of in person and virtual.

My children are struggling from the lack of face to face in person interaction with their peers and teachers. The Chief of the CDC said that not having kids in school is more devastating to their well being.

Children MUST go to school! They are being denied a quality education and this will be much more detrimental for them than any risk of this virus. Stop denying what is fundamentally theirs!
