Kids need to be in school, under extra cautionary measures, at least elementary school kids this Fall. If most other countries can do it why can’t we? Be flexible, offer morning/afternoon shifts maybe. Teachers, like Doctors and nurses, are essential workers and they need to be around kids.

Please let them go back, my kindergartener is struggling and he deserves to be in a real classroom.

Kindergartners are struggling. Parkway has not provided teachers good internet and they keep dropping off. Not fair to teachers and more importantly not fair to the kids. Why can’t the county at least provide teachers with the tools to do virtual learning. This seems to be set up to fail.

Our kids need to be back at school 5 days per week! Figure out how to get this done!

The public schools need to open. We cannot leave a generation behind. E learning g doesn’t work for little ones. This is only exacerbating the wealth gap in the USA as wealthy families can put their little ones in private schools or hire tutors. This is a democracy failing.

If bars, golf courses and nail salons are open so should elementary schools. (Seems all private schools are open now too.) Decision makers are punishing families by not opening.

My daughter is in first grade and was already falling behind because of her ADHD. She NEEDS to be in school. I’m a single mom who struggles financially as it is, and now I’m paying $1,000 a month for her to go to Adventure Club so that she has the structure of going to school and the socialization that she desperately needs.
