The undersigned resent the arbitrary removal and destruction of graveside memorabilia such as urn, statues, shepherd hooks and plants. Upon purchasing the burial privileges there were no guidelines or restrictions attached. Many gravesites are grandfathered in. There was no viable notice given to heirs or people who don’t read that particular church bulletin. They are showing no respect for the deceased and have thrown away brand new items as well as old ones costing people thousands of dollars. We are asking the Knights of Columbus to cease and to return all remove property as we view it as theft. This petition will be given to the parish administrator, parish priest , the diocese and if necessary the nuncio.
