I fully support Jeff Johnson's Moratorium. I am not shocked that no one in favor at the meeting did not get to speak. I am not shocked that it did not pass. I am shocked that our city council just does not care about this city. OKay, I lied. I am not shocked. I feel we the residents of this city should get to vote on the moratorium not the city council members. They should not have the right to decide what is best for this city and its citizens.

I thank the Author of this petition... Not sure what it will actually accomplish. But, I find solace in reading responses from folks that as frustrated and angry as we are... Thanks Again

I am deeply concerned about the significant, even overwhelming, demographic changes to our communities throughout MN and its staggering costs, culturally and financially. Ronald Reagan said, "A nation without borders is not a nation."
All that we love and cherish is at stake. We The People demand to have a say in who is being imported into our communities and how our hard-earned dollars are being spent.

My quality of life has been affected since we have had noise issues from our new neighbors above us. This is a Somali family and we have had no resolution since they moved in in August of 2017. We hate being home when they are home.

While I'm concerned and very attentive to reports of all the immigrant problems across Europe and here in U.S., I agree that fairness dictates we look into individual situations AS CLOSELY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, to avoid the dire problems later. If ALL refugees can prove to be in agreement with our practices, ethics and all rules of living freely, consideration might be possible. What's resulted in Europe, however is not looking good at all. Those planning on entering with arrogant demands based on entitlement and religion...stay where you are.

Kudos to Councilman, Jeff Johnson, for recognizing the economic demise of our City, University, schools and neighborhoods! In 2010 it was estimated the City and greater St. Cloud area was hosting nearly 11,000 immigrants, ( St. Cloud Times). Our population was estimated in the same article at 67,000. This ratio is a huge economic burden on our City. Residents are moving to other school districts to avoid behavior problems of immigrant students in our schools. Immigrants are bullying our local students, voiding and deficating on the floors, washing their private parts in front of our innocent first through sixth graders. Immigrant parents with Pre-school age children are not teaching them English and in turn complaining that we aren’t supplying enough interpreters, these same parents are not interested in volunteering in classrooms. The value of our homes has plummeted due to neighborhoods deteriorating, crime escalating, and the undesirable school district. Our local University is losing enrollment, a huge portion of their budget is being spent employing student counselors to solve immigrant student issues. Our HHS budget is currently in the red over a million dollars. Our Court Administration Building is deteriorating due to inadequate HVAC system not capable of cleaning the air contaminated by immigrants strong body orders which permeate the building from the second floor HHS office. Please help our City!!!
