I am ex footplate. To have a turntable is essential. UNLESS there is a rail triangle in the vicinity with permission to use it at all times IN PERPETUITY

This facility is too important to lose!

It is vital that this piece of railway heritage is kept working. As a volunteer on Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway I have first hand experience of how much people enjoy this historical and evocative mode of transport

Important for the future of steam hauled trains to Cornwall and for the local economy

Come on DB Schencker. It's not all about the balance on your bottom line, there are tourism and community interests to consider here. What about your Corporate Social Responsibility ?

Steam trains are something we can still be proud of in this country, even if our football team let us down.

Steam still has a place in our heritage

Cornwall and the St Blazey turntable have one thing in common - they were both made for the steam engine!

Since losing steam on the Cambrian Coast due to new signalling needing dedicated stock the number of railway orientated visitors has fallen considerably - this will happen in Cornwall the same

Please don't let Cornwall lose out on mainline steam!
