Retaining this asset in its **present position** is essential for keeping, and growing the steam charter market this far west.

This is a major piece of Cornish infrastructure vital to the Cornish tourism industry (for use by steam hauled charter locos) -advise the heritage officer at Cornwall County Council to campaign for it's retention.

This turntable is not only essential for the continuing operation of main line steam in Cornwall, but also to Cornwall's already fragile economy. Jobs depend on the turntable as much as the locos using it. If we lose it the whole of Cornwall loses.

This turntable needs to be saved for the future. Good idea for a friends group John. I wonder if the charter companies would consider pooling resources to conserve this valuable resource?
