I have two shop in st Austell and the rates are ridiculously high along with the rent they should help and encourages small independents not force them out with the prices they charge.

Save St Austell! It's a lovely town and could be a thriving one with tourists coming to the Eden project and visiting local places such as Charlestown, with its link to TV shows such as Poldark. We are missing an opportunity to gain the tourists other Cornish towns enjoy, they are out there so why can't St Austell have the chance to thrive too!

We need more shops to sell individuality, too many shops are selling the same. We need to draw people back. The town was a thriving one in the 70's and before. What does that tell you.
