I had to stop taking my grandchildren to the public parks downtown 7 years ago because of the urine, and feces, and filth all over the children areas! I was told to contact the park service, and basically was told there is nothing they can do! This is utterly rediculous to the taxpayers if this county! Where are the taxpayers rights?!?!

This is a serious problem. Our out of town visitors do not want to go downtown.

I was born and raised in this town and am so sad by what I see downtown. St. George St is NOT what it used to be. It is not safe and not clean. Panhandlers everywhere. I never come downtown alone and refuse to bring out of town guests here because it's embarrassing compared to what our little city used to be. So sad.....

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! City leaders, get our yourselves & walk downtown & open your eyes to what is going on. Stop being scared of the vagrants and take care of your residents!

We have witnessed drug deals on St George St by the church, along with the yelling of profanities at people. I have been approached at Winn Dixie N in parking lot while putting my groceries in vehicle and continued to watch this same person walk up to other people asking for money. The trash and belongings downtown in the middle of the walkway making it difficult to walk at the very least an eyesore and unsanitary. I no longer feel safe walking downtown or going to store alone.

AND they linger outside my local Circle K asking patrons for money for food but come out of the store with BEER and CIGS!

We need better communication with the city on this issue. So far only the mayor has spoken up, no City Manager or other commissioners. This group is trying to make a difference & restore our lovely city. We can only do so much but deserve to know what the City itself is doing. Why is it so difficult to be kept informed?

They shouldn't be allowed on st george st or city parks it just looks terrible for them to lay around gives the wrong impression for our guest of our city

This endangers my property values, and my employment.
