Great idea, very important for cyclists safety at busy school run times! And it will encourage more people to use their bikes.

Encouraging the children to cycle to school is important and we must make it as safe as we can. Extending the cycle lane will be a vital part of this.

Even as an experienced adult cyclist, I feel vulnerable cycling alongside cars on Woodstock Road. This extension to keep kids further from the traffic is a good idea.

Should be provided to encourage children to remain fit.

It would be such a simple thing to do and would increase the safety of the many children who cycle to school.

Given the death of a cyclist at the junction of Polstead rd and Woodstock Rd in 2014, I would think this is a no-brainer and shouldnt even have required a petition. I would urge the council to do it as a matter of urgency

We love cycling to school and knowing we are safe would be welcomed wholeheartedly.
