Even as an experienced adult cyclist, I feel vulnerable cycling alongside cars on Woodstock Road. This extension to keep kids further from the traffic is a good idea.

Given the death of a cyclist at the junction of Polstead rd and Woodstock Rd in 2014, I would think this is a no-brainer and shouldnt even have required a petition. I would urge the council to do it as a matter of urgency

This extension to existing cycle lane would greatly increase the safety of children cycling to St Aloysius. My grandchildren attend this school and will benefit by this extension when cycling to school.

This will also help to serve Phil & Jim's school, so a worthy endeavor to encourage school age children and their families to cycle around Oxford.

As an ex-parent , a governor and a previous chair of governors at this school and, as a cyclist myself I can wholeheartedly support this petition. There is room on the pavement to put in a cycle lane and this addition will make the route safer and encourage more children and parents to cycle.

Great idea, very important for cyclists safety at busy school run times! And it will encourage more people to use their bikes.
