Radio Serbia no puede dejar de existir engorda corta. La señal es vital para contar lo que ocurre en esa zona de Europa.

Please keep International Radio Serbia on the air. The world needs information and knowledge from varied sources, and shortwave radio is an important way to do it. Not everyone has access to other sources of news and information. Radio is important. Thank you.

News media in the US has become awful and erroneous. Thank goodness for shortwave stations like you to provide us with balanced information. Losing Radio Serbia would create a huge void to we throughout the world that depend on outside information via shortwave.

The ignorance of people who do not recognize the viability of short wave radio will become obvious to the world when listeners no longer are intrigued by the newness of Internet technology. The portability and anonymity worldwide of short wave radio will ALWAYS provide listeners
with a conduit to news and information. As a listener since the 1960s it is a sad day when the government of a country is so short-sighted to recognize what short wave contributes to a nation. 60% of what is read on the Internet is nonsense and not factual. This is creating a ground swell of people abandoning the Internet for news today. Serbia should get back to basics, stop relying on the gimmickry and newness of the Internet and put their efforts into ENHANCING short wave service; not eliminating it!

Please do not close Serbias international short wave radio service down. It provides an interesting insight into the news views, culture and music of Serbia which the internet alone cannot provide.

Closing down Radio Serbia would be a loss to the world. We all need a reliable source of information from the region. Radio Serbia deserves the support of the Serbian people. The VOA still exists in the US, why not radio Serbia?
