The world still needs international broadcasters whether the material is broadcast via shortwave or the internet. People need to keep talking to people if there is to be any better understanding.

Ovo je čin izdaje nacionalnih interesa i ukoliko do gašenja svetskog servisa zaista dođe, verujem da će jednog dana neko za ovo snositi i krivičnu odgovornost. Možda će se situacija malo razjasniti kada vidimo kome će biti dodeljena KT frekvencija i zbog čega bahati vlastodršci tako uporno insistiraju na ovako štetočinskom potezu.

It's a sad day when a country no longer thinks that the image it presents to the rest of the world is no longer important. Radio Serbia has done a good job of this, and it's sad to see it all being thrown away, and its valuable and experienced staff cast onto the rubbish heap. A black day for sure, this decision needs to be reversed.
