Square Enix is in the proccess of doing a remake for Final Fantasy VII, and while that's all well and good, I believe it's the duty of an organization to be loyal to the fans, it took a while for you to listen to the fans of Final Fantasy VII, I only ask that you not let that history repeat it's self. What you have and are doing for Final Fantasy VII, giving the game the new life is what we need. We need a sequel and or a remake, this game is so deep and full of beauty and sorrow and triumph that what it is will always be a part of my heart.

The momentum behind this request for a modernized vision of Final Fantasy VIII has grown beyond my initial expectations. Remake or sequel, but please REMAKE OR SEQUEL, don't make it a hack & slash like XV. I want it to play the same way as it used to. The way ALL Final Fantasy games should be. If I wanted hack & slash I'd play Devil May Cry.
I will ALWAYS continue to play and love the classic games, but it would also be great to have this one remade as well. This was yet another wonderful game of the Final Fantasy series, it deserves to have some amazing graphics! How great would the space scene look if that was remade to the new graphics? I could only dream!
I love this game. Squall and his friends got me through 8th grade. Final Fantasy VIII means the world to me and I would love for this underrated gem to be remade.
The whole "Seed academy" plot can be used for many nice storylines. Squal is the head of school, but new students will come and they will learn the way of a seed, why not using it for a nice new game?
VIII is very deserving of a remake. It had a very strong protagonist that is relatable to most people and went in depth to how people can be changed based around love... and it could be a good chance to re-tweak the junction system that most hated.
FF8 is the best game of all the Final Fantasy games still today in my opinion since I've played several games in that series. Compared to FF7 remake, I think most fans would agree that we just want modern day graphics, voice actors etc but PLEASE keep the story the way it is with all the side quests and the Active Time Battle, not turn into a devil may cry kind of game but preserve the soul of the franchise!!

Square Enix, I really hope you hear us out and do a remake for Final Fantasy VIII. It is a great game and has a lot of fans whom are dying for the story to be reignited again! Final Fantasy VII isn't the only game with die-hard fans. We think it's time some others got the spotlight too. Please consider it.
