Seattle Public Schools recently announced a proposed plan to change High School start times from 8:45 to 9:00 and end times from 3:15 to 3:50. This will negatively affect students' extracurricular activities, time available for studying, and other social commitments, all vital to a student's success both in school and outside of their educational experience.
