Final supporters
-Enforcing a more strict dress code than the one we currently have
-Prohibiting any outside food and drink being brought on campus
-Giving twenty four minutes for lunch in the cafeteria, then sending students to an assigned study hall classroom for the rest of the period
-Banning all forms of physical contact between students
-Removal of clubs including PFLAG
There are other rumored changes that the new principal has been said to want to install including:
-Removal of Eagle Games
-Removal of Homecoming
-Removal of Prom
-Uniform policy next semester and/or next year
-Removal of the option to have a reduced schedule

The administration has declined to comment on our grievances thus far. I am currently preparing a formal letter that outlines our concerns regarding the proposed extracurricular and policy changes to be delivered directly to the school board office.

What Mr. Rufa needs to know is that we're all on our way to becoming adults—we can't become adults with all these childish rules. No one even crosses the ''dress code" line. Everyone is in tact. Not having the permission to have drinks on campus is like telling us students to come to school unprepared. Mr. Rufa, you're a disgrace to the hernando county board.
I'm about 200% sure this is not you. Considering the fact that you cursed at a kid. Very professional. Write all of us up for this petition. Good luck writing up 184 people.
Mr rufa your a joke your a short little dick who thinks everyone will respect you if your a total asshole about everything we have the right to prom to homecoming and to eagle games you act like taking these things away is going to make every student in springstead respect you but clearly you have seen the real repercussions to your actions and let me tell you mrs Duval was 10x better then you will ever be and I know everyone will be on my side about that comment douche bagggg
He takes it WAY over the top though. He blew a really loud whistle in my ear because I had an iced coffee from dunkin doughnuts. Its ridiculous.
I am moving to this district and have family attending this year. If high school is suppose to prepare students for real world then follow work guidelines. With that lunch at work is typically a half hour to an hour so I can somewhat understand his thinking also he is guaranteeing students 30 min to study. As for the rest of his ideas um no thank you dress codes can be enforced without uniforms, clubs and extra activities gives good resume points and social interaction.

Eagle games homecoming and prom were all just jokes he thought it would be funny though it wasn't I'm happy we aren't getting rid of them!
