The Virginia Gazette reported on 2/10/10 that elementary school kids in Springhill are going to be redistricted to attend D.J. Montague instead of Matoaka Elementary. None of the previous maps available to the public even suggested that Springhill would be moved again. This will be the fourth move for Springhill in fifteen years.
If there are others out there who would like to see your children stay at Matoaka Elementary, please sign this petition and write to Joe Fuentes at: fuentesj@wjcc.k12.va.us. He is our representative to the School Board.
