We focus on the special needs of the child being bullied - this shouldn't have happened to ANYONE. These punks need to be punished for putting their hands on someone else and for standing back and watching it happen. I know what I would do had it been my child and the school was only giving a suspension. The school and this kids' family better watch out. Come on Wayne County - do your job of protecting these kids and get it together!

Let's not kid ourselves when it comes to bullying our teachers, parents and caregivers must not turn their backs to what is taking place when it comes to our children. Time for all involved including the adults in charge to be held accountable.

I think that all bullies should be put in a room with a bigger bully than they are and let the other person push the bully around for about 30 minutes!

The bully and the kid recording this both need punished .. there needs a stop put to bullying period and if nothing is done about this it will only get worse .

I'm discusted by Kaden Garret's actions and also believe a 10 day suspension is a slap on the risk. Bullying is NEVER ok and we as parents need to stand up and quit letting things like this happen to our children. Special needs or not it's not ok to beat the crap out of someone.

As WRONG as this is, the agressor may have a past that causes him problems. He's in State custody so that could hint towards some abuse. Maybe he has some psychological problems. He is obviously interfering with other children's education so a more specialized school may be the answer but it seems the victim may need a more structured environment to develop social skills. That being said, the aggresive child should not be allowed to participate in sports until improvement is shown but the other child also needs a deterrent from his bad habits.

My son is special need and if he did that to my child I would get him for assault. No football for him and make him go to another school. I wouldn't want my son to ever see him again in the school hall or classroom.

I agree he does not deserve to play football for SVHS ever, 10 days are nothing for what he done to that poor kid he needs a lot more done to him then what he got!

Bullies really are cowards. I am in the military now and I have seen tough...real tough. People who are tough do not bully. This little punk needs suspended, kicked off of any teams, and he will certainly get what is coming to him as bullies always do. The parents of the victims need to keep pushing until they get everything they want from this situation. Also, this is called bullying because we are talking about kids, but I am a trained police officer as well as military officer. This is assault. Make sure the police are involved and stay involved. Do not simply allow this to become a "school issue." Good luck

I think the boy who attacked this other boy. Should have to pay his dues. It's wrong to bully other people. Because of there life style, the way they look, or even how they dress. No one knows what someone goes through on a daily basis. Don't assume things going on a person's past either. This was uncalled for on so many levels. I my self don't feel he should be aloud back in the school.

The sad part is this goes on all over the school and teachers and higher ups do not take care of it. I know for a fact that because my daughter was bullied and ended up doing home schooling due to being bullied and scared to go to school. There is no pu ishment good enough for him or his family! The young man that was abused you need to go all the way over the schools head and let them have it and sue the school board. NO ONE should be subjected to this!!!!NO ONE!!!
