This boy needs expelled from school & some sort of counciling. If you want to stop this behavior- make an example of this boy.

As a mother to a senior at Spring Valley High School I have seen 4 years of nonsense!!! Basically my son was a nobody because he didn't have the right name nor enough dollar signs behind his name! I don't know either child in this instance, but what I do know is that we as parents have got to insist the violence and bullying STOPS!!! Our children our killing them selves over things like this!!!
When do we say enough is enough...how can we hold our children accountable if we aren't holding our educational institutions accountable? The behavior will continue until the punishment is severe enough to fit the offense. I don't wish Kaden Garrett any harm..but maybe if some of his high school "privileges " were taken away it would make him realize the severity of his actions! We are raising a society of children that are immune to violence... and to think that this boy couldn't see that he had many advantages over the other child...or maybe he did and just didn't care...I am not sure but if anything good can come of this I hope it is awareness on SVHS's part....please do not sweep this under the rug as you are so prone to do!!!

I want to know if anything is going to be done to the football player who beat up another special needs child. This was also at Spring Valley and the boy spent a night in the hospital with severe concussion.

Suspension! That's not enough this is clearly not his first offense just the first time he has been caught.
