John deserves to be honored in this special way, many people looked up to him and he lead them in a right direction. I know for a fact he was there for all 3 of my girls, he was family

Spotty Stevens spent decades involved in the cultivation of Fontana’s youth. His dedication to the city and the school district are well known and his impact is still felt by those who had the opportunity to be around Spotty. I believe Spotty has earned the honor of having the softball field named after him and it would help to remind others of the legacy he left.

Spotty Stevens brought the joy of baseball to hundreds, if not thousands, of Fontana youth for fifty+ years. Noone is more deserving of this honor than he is.
