I want to petition the Town of Hampstead to install/provide a splash pad for the kids in the area to enjoy. I travel to different areas and see them frequently attached to community parks. Let's make Hampstead, MD part of getting kids outside, socializing and enjoying water. Dont give donations!!! This is just to show Town of Hampstead that this is some we would like in our community.

I have finished drafting a formal proposal to present to the Town Council regarding the installation of a splash pad. The feedback I continue to receive from residents confirms that our community strongly desires this addition to our public parks.

Totally down for this. Tired of paying for expensive pool memberships just to cool off for a few hours.
I really been wanting to have a water park in carroll county parks. I used to have a lot of water parks near my home in Puerto Rico before moving to Maryland. This will be amazing to have it. I would love it to be for adults too. This way all the family can share together the fun.
Having two kids that I take "out of town" to enjoy a splash pad, this town could really benefit from this. I spend a great deal of money out of the city limits at businesses like restaurants and shops that I could spend here in the town if the city had this in place.
I no longer live in Hampstead, but when I did and raised my children there, this would have been awesome! Great suggestion!! Good luck!
Ok, so the Town of Hampstead called to inform me this wouldnt be allowed due to a no sprinkler rule. I understand for homes but this would be a community area with like a push button system that they would only run is the button was pushed for an X amount of time. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

Yes please! My kids are so bored in the summer and we always end up driving to hunt valley or somewhere else. Would love to stay local.
