I am blown away that we live on an island surrounded by water but don't have a town beach or at least a pool. We need both.

As a frequent bpk park visitor w my 4 year old this would be an incredible addition as the play areas get very hot in the summer and current sun shades provide only partial reprieve. A splash pad area would be a great addition that would promote longer and more frequent park use.
