Best idea ever, it is so hot here. Kids would have a place to cool off. Would be a great idea, since it doesn't look like we will ever get a community pool!
As a frequent bpk park visitor w my 4 year old this would be an incredible addition as the play areas get very hot in the summer and current sun shades provide only partial reprieve. A splash pad area would be a great addition that would promote longer and more frequent park use.
That would be so great for kids in the community and for grandparents like me so when my grandaughter comes to visit we could take her there. Im all for it!
Being a mother to 3 small children, having a splash park to go to for fun and to cool off during the hot days would be an excellent addition to Big Pine Key.
We need this for our children in Big Pine ! We don't have bowling or skating rinks or trampoline parks , we don't even have a car wash in Big Pine, our children could really use this .
Honestly, Big Pine Key needs this.

It is just way too hot not to have somewhere local to take the kids, other than the beach. There are times that people want to play in the water and cool down, without having to get sand everywhere or having to pack chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc.
