I didn't know there was Spiderman 3.1, I hope Sony & Marvel make agreements and Avi Arad to release this version, I'm sure majority would show this generations kids how great Spiderman San Raimi seriously was so cool in the theaters. Is Spiderman 2.1 was released so can 3.1.

Toby Maguire/Sam Rami Spiderman films are the best is the best Spiderman films ever. Without these films, along with the X-Men films, the Marvel universe would't exist. Time to give back some Credit.

I signed this petition a little over a year ago and have been checking on it time to time ever since. I love this community of fans who want the extended cut as much as I do, and I think a directors cut would make the 3rd installment of the Raimi trilogy much more complete. We are only 869 signatures away from reaching our goal and I think we have a great chance of this happening! Also next year shockingly makes Spider-Man 3's tenth anniversary, the same year we get another Spider-Man film. I think this is a great opportunity for Sony to release it. We can make it happen.
