This could shut up James Franco. And despite the fact that Tobey is messed up, I DO NOT want to see Jake Gyllenhaal. That wouldn't shut up Franco.

I don't go to theatres much. I did see Spiderman 1 in the theatre and it was the most fun i ever had watching a movie. I bought the trilogy on blu ray and I think they are all great. The Amazing movies don't have the same cool villians, weird looking Lizard and Electro looks strange. I didn't have the same feeling watching those like I did the Raimi movies. Spiderman 4 would make me cry like a baby with joy.

When I heard The Amazing Spiderman was going to be about how Peter Parker gains his powers, I thought a remake of Spiderman1 was a retarded idea. Sam Raimi made a rich universe I dont get why they negated it existence and restarted with a new universe that is less rich. The point is that the 3 movies in the Raimi universe are a better starting point... Is the most ridicolous thing ever. The movie was advertised as the untold story but it was an inferior remake.
The explanation would be that when Wolverine traveled back in time he altered Spidermans origin... And the Raimi

We, fans, really wish Sam Raimi to come back to save Spider-man's franchise, that is currently messed up by Webb and his crew.
The Amazing Spider-man was only made for money and ego (because Raimi and Sony weren't at the same page after Spider-Man 3) and wasn't only bad, cheesy and kidfriendly but really not convincing after what Raimi and Sony could do with the first Trilogy !
Then came, "The Amazing Spider-man 2"...OMG ! Did Paramount authorized Sony to include a "Dinobot" to fight Spider-man in this Movie or was it just a sad adaptation of the Rhino...This has simply to stop right now ! Fans aren't that stupid and marketing almost killed a Franchise that stars one of the Greatest Super-Heroes ever...
Spider-Man's first Trilogy made by the genious of Sam Raimi was such a great hit, not only because it makes more money than the Reboot but also for all the Aesthetics (great costumes, great special effects, incredibly good acting etc...) and all the love put in the 3 movies.
I really think "Spider-man" was the ONE who litterally started bringing people to theaters to see super-heroes, so he really deserves to recover his lost (because of the reboot) haughtiness !
Please, Sam Raimi, if you can read those lines, please come back and save Spider-man ! Obviously not by being the one replacing Webb by producing "The Amazing Spider-man 3" - But by Rebooting the Reboot before they plan filming TASM3 and either bringing back the old stories and cast-members or starting a new (more adult) Trilogy with your smart, relevant and Comics-friendly sensibility !!!
Spider-man has so many great stories to tell which deserve to be seen on big screen and not being wasted like that !!!
