Please think practically and speed up things. Not only do people have their life plans on hold, it doesn't make sense when there is a requirement now, based on which you send an invite, and then the person actually migrates and starts working 2 or 3 years later.
At the moment it looks like there is just 1 person dealing with all the applications and she/ he cannot go past the priority applications lodged. While priority applications do warrant a fast processing, everything else has to go on in parallel too and cannot be put in limbo. The processing time cannot keep changing every month and their needs to be some transparency as well as commitment to timelines shown.
Please take a pragmatic approach towards the entire process to prevent people's faith, efforts and money going to waste.

Waiting almost 16 months (since June 2022) for 491 visa grant from off shore non-priority occupation. It exceeds max. Processing time by October. Also, DOHA should expedite existing backlog & 191 visa processing.

Please think practically and speed up things. Not only do people have their life plans on hold, it doesn't make sense when there is a requirement now, based on which you send an invite, and then the person actually migrates and starts working 2 or 3 years later.
