I am currently compiling the experiences gathered from this petition to form a formal proposal for the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore. These accounts serve as the primary evidence for our request to streamline the post-mortem assessment process. This really needs to change. Let us bury our family members with dignity and without these long delays.
It breaks my heart to see families wait so long to lay their loved ones to rest. We need respect for our traditions and it should be possible to bury our dead faster.

Why do our elderly have to go through autopsies when the cause is already clear? It is cruel to keep the body waiting like this. MUIS needs to step up.
