I have submitted a formal request for a traffic volume study to the city department of transportation. This documentation is the first administrative requirement to move forward with the installation of speed tables.

The volume of support has secured us a formal meeting with the city traffic department to discuss the installation of speed tables. I am currently drafting a letter to the planning commission that outlines our specific requirements for road safety. Further progress will be communicated once the site assessment concludes.

This is a great idea. Would also be nice to have one or two on Cruise Ave. that is nearby.
Everyone one who lives in this wonderful old neighborhood needs to sign the petition. I grew up here as well, same house and want to be able to see a resolution for the speeding.
2nd avenue has become a racetrack for 2 or 3 certain vehicles especially.
Need signs showing children at play.

Appreciate it if my logo wasn't used as if Cahaba Falls is the problem, the residents of Davidson subdivision are nearly 100% of their own speeding problem. Thanks! Aaron Hood
