In our beautiful community of Cooper Jack Bay Settlement, Turks and Caicos Islands, we are constantly reminded of the dangers posed by speeding vehicles. This is particularly worrisome around the numerous blind corners and hidden spots, where the risk of collision is high for drivers pulling out, unable to see oncoming traffic.

We, as community members, are deeply concerned for our safety and the safety of our children. Every day, each trip outside is filled with anxiety, as the very roads meant to bring us together, pose a threat instead. This is why we are urging local developers and Electoral District Representatives to take immediate action.

We propose the Installation of Speed Humps or Alternatives:

Implementing speed humps along the most affected roads will inherently slow down traffic, reducing the risk of accidents and making the streets safer for pedestrians and drivers alike.

This measure is not just requests but pressing necessities to guard our children’s safety and provide peace of mind to every resident of Cooper Jack Bay Settlement. We understand the undertaking's challenges but believe that united, our community can initiate this critical change.
