Our excessive speed problem has gone on far too long. The 15 and 25 mph speed limits on all our private lake roadways are continuously ignored and members and guests are one speeding vehicle away from a preventable tragedy. A survey was completed on Old Coach by Vernon PD in July 2024 and the data overwhelmingly supported our claim that something needs to be done. Over an 8 day period, speed data showed 4,951 cars passed through and nearly 30% resulted in an "enforceable violation". Pleasant Valley, Old Coach, West Shore and East Shore all need speed control NOW.
