I live on Centenary Way and the speed people come past our house is ridiculous, something needs to be done asap to stop a serious accident happening.

Yes speed reduction bumps are needed as children skate board sometimes on the road to school

Speed kills whether it be an animal or person and as such residential roads needs to be managed to avoid incidents arising with with bumps or speed signs advising of actual pace of the vehicle.

This is a great idea . I really hope it happens and people slow down, I have friends with children on the estate meaning my children also play there, the cars speed around and hopefully speed bumps will prevent anything disastrous happening

Absolutely agree. Some of the worst driving and speeding are by either contractors/employees of William Davis/Miller Homes/ MJ Evans or delivery drivers to the site who completely flout the speed limits put in by their own companies...maybe some video and photos to start shaming these people might help?

We want our estate to be a safe place for everyone and if this is the way to do it, then so be it! We can’t afford for it to be a child or adult who is knocked over and killed!!!

There seems to be a group of people who set off and too their houses is a terrible rush, almost skidding around the corner by our house. They then slam on the breaks 50m down the road at the junction??? Idiots!

All drivers need to curb there speed on all roads. They are not racetracks! If caught, sieze the cars and destroy them!

Interesting reading. I’m just about to ‘exchange’ on a property on Copcut Rise, however after reading this I now have serious reservations, and certainly don’t want to be living on a race track! Some serious thinking to be done over the weekend.

People drive up and down like it’s silverstone we have no park for the kids to play it’s only a matter of time before a child is ran over and killed

We desperately need a method to slow traffic on Copcut Rise. We know that 2 cats have already been killed, let's not be mourning the lose of a child next.
