I agree with the statements but because I am disabled (SSDI not SSI!) I can not type long lettersand at times can not focus in order to compose a letter or petition on my own. I therefore assert that my feelings are to be considered as those feelings represented by the original petition author, thank you.

The separation should never have been allowed to begin with. Make this right. Humanity first.

These children are no threat to our country or our safety.Start caring for others as you would want your own family members to be treated.

This is a critical time on the planet... we must come together in solidarity and look at the driving force behind this inhumane treatment of our brothers and sisters from across borders.

All people deserve the right to due process, dignity, and humanity. We need to end this narrative that certain categories of people do not deserve the same rights because they may or may not have broken a law that we created. Those seeking asylum especially need not be further traumatized when they get here - we should welcome them with open arms. We are talking about human beings who, like many of us, have to make difficult decisions every day to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

I stand with asylum seekers, and immigrants and oppose corrupt detention centers profiting off of individuals and child separation. We are better than this.

Treating all people with respect and dignity shouldn't be something we have to fight for, but we will.

I'm totally against how this administration are treating the children, this is inhuman. My heart hurt when I see the children crying and suffering for their parents!! We need stop this!!
