We, the surrounding residents of 3640 Fannie Thompson Road Monroe, Georgia do herby adamantly OPPOSE the request for conditional use CU18110002-(Conditional Use for a wedding venue-Applicant/Owner: Simone & Joseph Pike- Property located on 3640 Fannie Thompson Road-Map./Parcel C0840055B00-District 5) on the basis that this type venue will violate the personal property rights of the surrounding RESIDENTS with unwanted noise, increased traffic, loitering, littering, and alcoholic use (possible drunk drivers). We, the citizens of this residential area, created homes and lives here with a desire to live in a quiet community that provides room for children to play safely and animals (agriculture) to live. We in no way find that this venue will improve the property values of the surrounding homes or the appeal of the neighborhood.

Not only is the character of our community and traffic a concern, but whats next when this business (eventually) closes. What business follows? I doubt that property will be easily converted into single family residential use.

I oppose this commercial establishment here. This is a quiet community where people walk their dogs, walk with friends and can even ride their horses to visit their neighbors if they wish. Please don't spoil this with a commercial establishment that will change the type of lifestyle that we all enjoy with noise and traffic and possible drunk drivers. Thank you.

I have many concerns about this venue but my main concern is the high possibility of drunk drivers on the road. I have family members that travel this road daily as well as many friends.

I vote no for the wedding venue. This is a quite residential safe environment that would be significantly compromised. The corner of Carl Davis Rd. and Fannie Thompson is no place for a busy wedding venue creating too many opportunities of potential hazards to our safety.

I, in no way want to have, what is essentially a commercial venue, this close to my home. I too moved here for the quiet and the open spaces. I never want to see 150 cars and trucks so close to my house. Had I wanted that I would have moved to a city.

Strongly oppose, too many families in the area and on the same road as a school for what a wedding venue would bring.

This definitely does not seem to fall into the Conservation Plan of Walton County. We do want a commercial business zoned residential on Fannie Thompson Road.

I oppose.
