I am extremely disappointed in SHU's response to this historical time. I demand more and as an Alumna I expect there to be a complete action plan on how Seton Hall will become an Anti-Racist college.

This mission statement is simply not good enough. Solving the issue of systemic racism goes way beyond praying for the people of this world. Action is needed. What is Seton Hall going to do to make sure the voices of minorities are heard throughout its campus?

Black Lives Matter. Take a stand against the systemic racism that plagues the nation - and exists on Seton Hall's campus among students, employees and staff - and make a verbal and written comment to be the change that those individuals deserve.

I implore you to do more for our black community. Please issue a statement that black lives matter. Our university is uniquely diverse and our brothers and sisters in the black community need to know that we have their back and that we will protect them and value them. Always.

Black Lives Matter, and we must work harder to understand the plight of our BIPOC brothers and sisters in the SHU community. Collectively, we have the opportunity to aid in dismantling the systemic racism these individuals experience daily. I stand behind what's written here, and fully believe that Seton Hall can truly lead the way in what it means to be a servant leader.

Seton Hall has a long standing of brushing racial issues aside and it’s sad that I was a freshman 9 years ago and it hasn’t changed.

I glad others are feeling the same way I am. There’s no way with all the protesting that happened on campus 2018-2019 that the school has reverted back to old ways.

Disappointed but confident the university can do much better. Hopefully its aim, as is the personal aim of each of its alumni in his/her individual life, is to do the best it’s ever done, even.

SHU, you need to be more explicit in your statement. This includes mentioning how you plan to ACTIVELY support BIPOC students and their organizations on campus. Do better.
