Walk away en masse ladies at the start of every race when a man who identifies as trans shows up to compete. It’s the only way. I flatly refuse to watch any competitions that include men in women’s divisions.

For the entirety of female sports, we have been segregated from many for many reasons. To allow males into female sports ignores the face of all of these reasons and compromises the safety and fairness of female athletes. Any sane person in 2019 knows this, yet I am signing a petition!

Why was sport segregated by sex in the first place? Why should it not be now? Who wins in this? Males win regardless of how they identify. Make the male category an open category and leave female sport alone.

Trans women are biological males, bigger skeletal frames and muscles. It is just unfair on women to disadvantage them by expecting biological women to compete against trans women and will surely put women off doing so.

I cannot believe this needs to be said - the world is going mad! This is not women's problem - men need to sort this out in their own sports teams and competitions or women's sport will be finished and just be a ludicrous pretence.

There are clear sex differences between men and women. These differences do not apply to gender identity. Women's sport will only be fair and safe if it is for females only.

Biology is important. I propose replacing 'men' and 'women' sport categories with 'female' and 'open'.

Women have a legal right to enjoy sports, break records and win medals. It took a long time for us to have this right. SImply changing unilaterally the meaning of the word woman should not be enough to erase that right.

Sport should be sporting! Normally I ask for evidence and although there is evidence for male advantage, it is just obvious and the reason women were given there own categories to compete in in the first. #keepsportsporting

I take part in sports. I compete in BJJ. There are not many women who train BJJ so mostly I train with males. I do notice a significant difference when sparring males and females so I can very confidently say that separating males and females in competition is the right thing to do. I have sparred very heavy and tall women, strong women. It is still easier to spar these women than a small male who was still stronger than the big females. I have also on a couple of occasions sparred a trans woman who was on hormone therapy. I have no idea if they had fully transitioned. Sparring this person was no different to sparring a male. Males and females must remain separated by sex rather than stereotypes on how some believe a woman or male should behave and dress.
