Speak Up For Women's Sport

Quite apart from the physiological differences which to me cannot be discounted or reasonably allowed for, it is unnatural and incongruent to allow former males to compete with women in the sporting arena. The results of such a contest are not worth a reasonable person's attention and lowers the reputation of women's sport.

My Wife and daughters all played netball, so I’ve watched lots of games. I’ve also played mixed netball, and seen up close the reality of the difference between biological men and women just in this sport. Women deserve their own space to compete.

We shouldn’t even need to be discussing this. Get men out of women’s sport!

I have much aroha for transgender athletes who face so many challenges and barriers in their lives. In this whole debate, we must be trying to figure out who competes against who. Transgender athletes competing in womens' competitions is not the answer.

Absolutely! It's not about what gender you want to be, it's about the chromosomes you were born with.

Sports must be categorised by sex, not gender identity.

This is a ridiculous and downright dangerous situation. How can you possibly put the wants of a very small minority above the safety, health and dedication of soooo many. It is not hard to have a seperate section for transgender athletes..... There needs to be basic commonsense and zero emotional bias used in this situation.

Everyone needs to get involved, the women/girls need to refuse to play or complete in cases like this

Womens sport and spaces must be protected. This issue must be debated openly without the abuse that comes from the activists

It is absolutely repugnant that transgender people are allowed to compete in women's sport, This is total discrimination on a level so disgusting and low. As being a male has an indisputable set of natural physical attributes that can not be totally changed no matter what actions have taken place or what rules have been put in place. Women and young girls need to be allowed to play sports on a fair playing field to help with the introduction of sports to the younger generation as why would a women want to play against a transgender male when she know that this would be totally unfair. This gives women and girls a definite disadvantage. It is disgraceful that this is allowed to happen. All transgender people should have their on category. I urge that all sporting bodies should change the current rulings about transgender people. The IOC and other sporting bodies should be ashamed of themselves.

Not fair for men to compete in women's sports.

It is unfair for male athlete competing in women's sport because they both have different strength and is not fair game for Women's sport. Also it is disadvantage for women and girls too.

The gender self i..d movement is deeply misogynisitc and invested in erasing female only spaces, female only sports, in erasing females. Once a male, regardless of what he demands others call him or what he has done to himself, is allowed to play in female sports female sports, and any concept of fair play, has been eliminated. Female is a biological reality, not just a feeling a male has in his head.

"I am TG and I have done my full journey right down to being now fully female, including legally, but yet I totally agree that Transgender Women are allowed to compete against biological Women is absurd and should be stopped. There are nowadays more than enough TG girls out there for there to be a TG category in sports events so they are competing against each other fairly. And any TG Women who pull this stunt are clearly cheating and it shows an extreme level of disrespect to the gender of which you say you wish to be, period"
