Speak Up For Women's Sport

Its grossly unfair for women to have to compete with trans-women in sport.

Please listen to these wonderful people. It not about discrimination rather about fair play...the true heart of sport

Why not make a special category for transgender athletes at certain events and stop this political correct nonsense.

I believe sports should be based on sex , male or female, not on gender identity according to science based evidence

This farce cannot be allowed to continue.

Against brainwashing the public with ideology.

Women have fought hard to be allowed to participate in sports, it's a shame their rights are being erased.

As kiwis we are internationally feted for our fairness and being good sports. Letting men compete in women’s sports is just not fair. It’s not Kiwi. Please stop it now.

This is grossly unfair to our female athletes, not just losing places on the podium but selection opportunities to those born male. The rules are a farce, they only need to identify as such for four years for sporting purposes and are allowed testosterone many times higher than women. Time to stop hiding behind the rules and ideas that say women and men are just an idea in a persons head. Gender identity is not proven and doesn't trump material reality and that the sex you are born very much matters in sport.

Basing sport on gender rather than sex is massively unfair to women. Allowing men to identify as women based on a feeling is a travesty.

Sport must be determined by biological sex not mens' myth 'gender' is supposedly innate and hence males can magically become women! Womens' sport only exists because women campaigned for decades to have the female sex right to compete in women only events. Now men once again are oppressing us women by claiming 'men can magically become women!' Just more male lies!

Just keep it fair!

Women’s sports must remain for women only. If necessary make a “trans” category, otherwise make the men’s category Open.

Sex and gender identity are not the same - please protect the right of our young women to compete safely and fairly

I have some trans friends and they support feminism as they are women who transed to men. Trans people need to compete against each other.

If things continue on their current path, women will be relegated to watching their own sports from the sidelines.

Men in dresses have no place in women’s sport. Society needs to stop pandering to these fetishists who are eroding women’s rights.

There will be times when it’s ambiguous but a male who identifies as female has a very unfair advantage in many sports

Women fought for the right to be able to compete in sports that were previously open only to men. We really shouldn't need to have to fight for women's sport again (but we are going to have to).
