Currently in Moorreesburg we are struggling with Spaza and China shops adding a surcharge with card payments... some little amounts - some a bit higher.
To name a few:
Happy R5 charges a R1 extra for every item when purchasing with your debit card.
Yesterday Samoa Moon Takeaways added a R30 surcharge on a balance of R104 making it R134.00

This has become unacceptable in our small town. Please help us make a change.
All petitions will be sent to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) aswell as the National Comsumer Commission (NCC) and the Payment Association of South Africa (PASA).
