Be creative. Find the funding and establish events to refund each year. Most other pounds have events to push adoptions. Get the vets on board to see if they will except reduced rates if signed off on by the pound.

Budgeting towards preventative care could lessen the needs for shelters that are already packed. Money towards this clinic means less strays and a higher quality of life for the animals.

This is a no brainer. And let's talk about a smaller second location shelter in Navarre next! Very hard for South County to get up to Milton to look for lost pets or adopt a new one!

This is extremely important and urgently needed in this area. Too many pets are not spayed or neutered causing our local shelters to be at capacity .

This needs to include TNR for feral cat colonies to control the overpopulation . Years and years have been spent doing trap and kill to no avail . Proven method of control is TNR . Thevresearch is out there . The longer we wait the more out of control this problem becomes .
You can offset the costs by having large annual fees placed on owners of intact dogs /cats . Especially breeders . Breeders need to pay a fee per animal . It may stop the overbreeding of backyard unregistered puppy mills
Would love to see this happen.
